Max Gut-Health is beneficial for all horses! As a probiotic it promotes good gut health in all equines. We have customers using Max-Gut Health across a range of different disciplines with horses of all shapes and sizes.
Bula has been on Max Gut- Health for 4 weeks now 16/10/2024 
I've been following Max Gut Health for a couple of months, deciding whether it would be a good option for my horse. All I can say is I wish I started him on it sooner! My horse has always been stressy & very sensitive in many different aspects. Plus, he has “squirrels” while being ridden and his concentration was about a 3/10 as he would be spooking round nearly every corner for no reason at all. Weight & condition have always been a concern too and various supplements over time never showed great changes.
At the beginning of 2024, he was unfortunately out of work due to an injury and on stable rest until the end of March. During this time, he also became moody to groom or be with, in the stable & of course he was losing some condition with everything that was going on with him. After getting him back into work, I just felt there was something not right and so I decided to give MGH a go & I’m so happy that I did.
It’s just been one month but there are so many improvements & changes.
- Less “squirrels” being ridden & more concentration 7/10
- A lot less stressy
- More relaxed in work
- Happier horse in the stable & paddock
- Condition & Weight improvement & filling out more
- Coat improvement
And I’m really looking forward to more and more improvements each month knowing all the benefits he is getting starting from the inside out. I would also just like to thank Tess from MGH, who has been so helpful & informative, answering all my messages & taking the time to go through each of my questions in full detail!
P.s. If you’ve been unsure whether to start MGH, I would recommend you do! It’s got so many benefits and gut health is so important for a happy healthy horse!

She’s also had quite a growth phase the last 2 weeks. I honestly cannot begin to express my relief and excitement for finding Max Gut! Thank you so much for everything! I’ll continue to share progress with you as we go ???? I honestly don’t see it as a cost anymore but an investment into the overall health of all my girls. Her winter coat is coming out in full force too. But all the horses are generally looking and feeling great!

After one of my previous posts mentioning a new gut supplement that I have been using, a lot of people have asked me what it is, so I decided to share the name of the product!
I introduced Max Gut Health into Kepler’s diet around 6 months ago because quite honestly, his spookiness had reached a point where I struggled to trot a 20m circle at home and all I could do was ride defensively – just waiting for the next spook. This really effected my efficiency as a rider and prevented us from performing to the best of our ability.
Since then, there has been a steady progression since the first month and there are now noticeable changes to his behaviour. While he is still sensitive and excitable (because that is just who he is!), I feel that we have finally turned a corner with the spookiness issue.

A true transformation
“Max Gut Health has helped transformed my horse, every year Max would have an awful attack of hives, we never knew where it would come from and spent so much money on allergy tests etc.
After talking with Sam, when I was at my wits end, she said we should think about how the hind gut works and having the micro biome working in harmony can make a major difference to the horse’s total wellbeing.
We are now 2 years on, and we could not be happier with how Max looks, and we have also started to feed the Max Joint supplement and he has gone from strength to strength.

“We started using Max Gut with Mojo our Connie, as he was really sensitive to touch round his belly and hind quarters and was basically very grumpy. Within the first week he changed and became much calmer to ride, less spooky out hacking and a generally nicer person.
Mum isn’t a great believer of supplements so wasn’t sure if it was just a placebo effect. Anyway without me knowing we ran out, Mum didn’t tell me but within 3 days Mojo did! He started to become grumpy again, spooky out hacking and hard to manage in his stable. I asked Mum if she was doing anything different with his feeding and she said no, other than we’d run out of Max Gut.
We reordered and within 3-4 days he was back to a nice pony again. This was about 3 years ago & we’ve never run out again. We feed all 4 of ours on it & also feed the joint health to Benjie my 24 year old who still competes and it’s made a big difference to him, especially after the farrier comes. He used to have to have the day off after a farrier visit as he was sore from holding his legs up, however after being on the joint supplement he’s so much better. The products are amazing and actually work, we definitely will never be without them.”
